Very good. First part was very affecting (human condition). He ends up with a pretty negative story (we must embrace a useful illusion) that I don't want to accept.

Pretty good Wolfe. Not too crazy. The twist fooled me, but I expected something weirder.

I would say he would've been well-served to pick up some statistics, but I'm not sure how Bayes would handle the paranormal. His description of his writer's life sounds like doing a lot of hard work to not much effect. And it's probably no longer even possible to make a living that way.
